Faith formation

Based on the approach of the School of Evangelization, spiritual formation at the Assumption Institute is a path of encounter with God that transforms daily life, gives meaning and awakens personal vocation.

Inspired by the spirituality of St. Marie Eugeniewe accompany our students so that they may discover Jesus in their daily lives and talk about Him with freedom, commitment and joy.

Our purposes:

• To generate a personal encounter with Jesus through the Word, prayer and social reality.
• Encourage interiority as a space for encounter and discernment.
• To accompany each person in the search for his or her vocation and sense of life with a sense of community.
• Strengthen that we are an outgoing Church that expresses itself in the commitment and service to the most vulnerable ones in society
• Strengthen Christian leadership and participation in various activities, including Holy Week missions.

From the earliest years, our students:

• They approach prayer, the Word and the sacraments within their school life.
• They participate in liturgical celebrations, retreats and experiences of solidarity and encounter.
• Reflecting on their vocation and how to be witnesses of the Gospel today
• They learn to live with a simple heart, open to others, to the Gospel and to God's plan.

They live the encounter with people like them, who live realities of injustice, and where the recognition of dignity, acceptance, empathy and social commitment, teach them to be supportive and generous, transforming the situations of other people for a better world for all.
