The Asunción Mountaineering Program is a unique educational experience for 5th grade students, designed to connect with nature, cultivate values and discover the path of life.
More than a hike, it is a life experience. Through five outings throughout the school year and a final camp, students live:
Places like Cerro San Miguel, Los Dinamos or Iztaccihuatl are the setting where each student discovers his or her own abilities and limits, and learns to overcome them with joy, effort and confidence.
In each outing, the mountain becomes a symbol: the effort, the silence, the sharing and the summit reflect the personal life project, with God as the goal.
This program develops skills and attitudes based on the pillars of our educational model:
During the program, virtues are cultivated that will accompany the students throughout their lives: joy, strength, prudence, perseverance, empathy, gratitude, effort, listening and tolerance.
The program is guided by a coordinating team made up of expert guides and volunteer parents committed to the safety, accompaniment and integration of all participants.
Mountaineering Asunción is more than an outdoor activity. It is a transformative experience that builds confidence, builds character and strengthens the heart.
Outclass Asuncion is a training program created especially for Asuncion High School students. It is designed to develop leadership skills based on experience, coexistence and connection with oneself and others.
What are we looking for?
Inspired by the four elements of nature, the program offers a creative and formative journey that connects students through five experiences throughout the school year.
Each activity is an invitation to get out of the routine, to have a healthy time with classmates and friends, and to enjoy learning in scenarios that promote trust, respect and collaboration.
