Asunción connects with the world

The Coordination of Institutional Relations of the Asunción Institute promotes intercultural, academic and vocational experiences that enrich the graduation profile of our students, connecting them with the world, with their life project and strengthening their Asunción identity.

We work in three areas:

1. University linkage 

  • Vocational and professional orientation. From the last grades of CCH (Highschool), we accompany each student in the process of discovering his or her vocation. This is done through specific subjects, personalized counseling and activities. 
  • Asunción University Fair, with the participation of high-level universities, both national and foreign, with information stands.
  • Vocational orientation test, which evaluates skills, interests and personality, with individual delivery of results.
  • Convenios universitarios y programa de becas, con instituciones de educación superior que reconocen la formación Asunción y otorgan beneficios académicos.

International Liaison

From 4th grade onwards, we offer immersion experiences abroad in different modalities, seeking the development of languages, sports, art and culture.

  • Summer Camp in England: immersive linguistic and cultural experience; development of autonomy skills and strength of character.
  • Summer Camp in Canada: sports, sustainability, artistic and cultural camp.
  • Dual certification program with Canada-Ontario School and the possibility of accessing studies abroad with greater scholarship opportunities. 
  • We have the AMA project (Assumption Missionary Auxiliaries) whose foundation is given in the missionary origins of the Assumption where young people voluntarily share a time of their lives for the service of needy people linked to an Assumption community. It is an opportunity to get to know and appreciate other cultures as well as their own gifts and abilities, while being accompanied in the search for meaning in their lives and vocation.

3.Assumption Congregation

  • Fomentamos el contacto con nuestras escuelas hermanas, Ser Asunción en RED, alrededor del mundo a través de intercambios virtuales con enfoque solidario, cultural, ecológico y espiritual.
  • Assumption Intercultural Experiences with sister schools abroad. Students can spend 15 days with an Assumptionist family and discover firsthand an encounter of identity, brotherhood and appreciation of cultural diversity; they will also be able to receive students from these schools and enrich the experience.
