Primary

At Asunción, the primary section is composed of 7 grades. We accompany our students in a key stage of their development, strengthening their cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual skills, in a motivating, challenging and deeply human environment.

With a competency-based approach, we promote meaningful learning, the acquisition of solid habits and the formation of values that will guide their lives.

This is a time for them to discover themselves, accept themselves and develop an inclusive and committed view of others. At every step, we want them to feel accompanied, valued and challenged to grow.

Our project promotes

• Competency-Based Education (CBE), through projects and didactic situations that integrate knowledge, skills and attitudes.
• Comprehensive development, with special attention to emotional, social and spiritual growth.
• Readiness grade, where students begin their journey with an immersion in the English language and a personalized accompaniment in the development of reading and writing, self-regulation and coexistence.
• Asuncion Bilingual Educational Model (MEBA), focused on the development of competencies for meaningful, active and collaborative learning in both Spanish and English.
• Science and technology, research and communication projects in English, with presentations before national and international juries.
• Development of digital, artistic, musical, sports and psychomotor skills as part of a comprehensive and balanced education.
• Academic, cultural and sporting events that promote expression, teamwork, critical thinking and respect for diversity.
• Faith formation lived in community, with experiences of prayer, reflection, solidarity and service, which strengthen the commitment to others and the desire to transform the world.
